    hiking trails
    large portions
    good drinks
    transportation issues
    outlet problems

I went on a hiking trip and enjoyed the trails in the area. After we hiked, I stopped by a restaurant for lunch and tried the nachos with chili. The portions were large and the selection of drinks was good, perfect to unwind after a day outdoors.

It was hard to get around without a car. The shuttle was not available, and using the bus proved difficult due to being full when it arrived. Some outlets in our room didn't work well.

    peppercorn steak

The outdoor patio was fantastic, perfect for a scenic meal. The peppercorn steak was a standout dish. We loved the beautiful mountain views and relaxing vibe. Also, the bison burger was delicious despite the pesky yellowjackets.

Felt looked after, no reason to complain.

    pleasant atmosphere
    efficient staff
    diverse menu
    musty odor
    noise pollution

The stay at Silver Fork Lodge & Restaurant was a delight. The ambiance and decor mirrored the beautiful natural surroundings, creating a cozy environment for both work and relaxation. The staff was efficient in addressing all requests, ensuring a smooth experience throughout my business trip. The on-site dining featured a diverse menu with local ingredients, and I particularly enjoyed the huevos rancheros for breakfast, which was both flavorful and satisfying.

The room had a slight musty odor.

    rustic atmosphere
    delicious breakfast
    friendly staff
    soft mattress

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Silver Fork Lodge. The rustic atmosphere complemented by friendly staff and delicious breakfast options truly enhanced my experience. Although the mattress felt a bit too soft for my liking, it didn't overshadow the lovely mountain views and cozy dining atmosphere.

    cozy ambiance
    excellent food
    restaurant closure
    accessibility challenge
    reservation confusion

Cozy ambiance with a warm wood stove in the lobby made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast, especially the bananas Foster French toast, was a highlight, but the restaurant closing a few nights left us scrambling for dinner.

This place was just a perfect match for a weekend outing in Brighton with excellent value for money. The lodge humbly sent a car to pick us up from Brighton so we could enjoy wine with dinner. For future visits, check bus schedules ahead to avoid long waits.

    comfy room
    clean accommodations
    room upgrade
    musty odor
    outdated vibe

The Double Room was comfy and clean, which was a nice surprise. We even got a room upgrade upon arrival, so that was a bonus. A couple of rooms had a bit of an outdated vibe, but they had everything we needed. The bed was nice, but a touch too soft for my liking. No TV was a change, but it fit the rustic feel. A little musty odor hit when we walked in, but it didn't affect our stay much.

A Cozy Retreat with Room for Improvement

During our three-night stay as a couple, we enjoyed the stunning views and the warm atmosphere. The hiking trails nearby were accessible and beautiful, but be prepared for limited dining options and transportation challenges. Consider renting a car for a smoother experience!
